Part Yearly Tickets Conditions

All tickets remain the property of Bus Éireann and are subject to the company's conditions of carriage and Customer Charter.

- Customers will only be issued one ticket to cover all portions of their journey
3. General Conditions
- Part Yearly Tickets are non transferable. Only the person named on the ticket may use it for travel. It cannot be resold or used by anyone else.
- Tickets remain the property of Bus Éireann and must be presented at any time during the journey or at any time if requested by an authorised Bus Éireann employee.
- Customers failing to produce their tickets will be liable to pay the ordinary single fare for the journey made and subsequent claims for refund will not be entertained.
Lost or Stolen Part Yearly Tickets
Loss or theft of your Part Yearly ticket should be reported to us as soon as possible by contacting the Sales Department on 01-7033435 (Bus Éireann Tickets) . In addition, theft of your ticket should be reported to the Gardai. Lost or Stolen Part Yearly tickets require a letter on headed paper from your company administrator stating the ticket has been lost or stolen. Bus Éireann will normally only issue one replacement Part Yearly in any twelve-month period and you will be charged the following replacement fees up to a maximum of €100.00.

Bus Éireann will refund any replacement fee less a standard administration charge once the original ticket is returned with a cover letter to the Regional Managers Office, Bus Éireann, Busáras, Store Street, Dublin 1 (Bus Éireann Tickets).
Cancelling Part Yearly Tickets

- Please note that if Part Yearly tickets are cancelled the refund/credit is based on the regular monthly rate by the number of months used.
- Your Part Yearly Ticket must be returned to Bus Éireann from your employer by Registered Post or Courier no later that 5th of the month.
- Part Yearly Tickets purchased through the taxsaver Commuter Scheme normally have employer conditions that can vary from company to company. It is advisable to seek clarification with your company administrator before seeking a refund.
- There is no refund given to Replacement Part Yearly Tickets that were lost, stolen or destroyed during the year.
- Refunds on Part Yearly Tickets will be calculated as follows: The cost of the appropriate Monthly Ticket multiplied by the number of months used is deducted from the amount paid for the Part Yearly Ticket. There is no administration fee involved.
